Walking Support can supply guides for both private and charity group
walks. The Guide will work on his own with smaller groups or he will
work in a pair or with a nominated and trained member of the group for
larger events. The guide we supply will be a qualfied First Aider and
will carry a comprehensive first aid kit and GPS navigational aid. We will also provide two way communications
from leader to back marker as well as carrying a mobile telephone to keep in touch with our office should any emergency arise.
Dependent on the numbers and the supporting group employed for the walk (if any) the
guide may have extended radio support with a support vehicle.
The guide will not only offer the direction, pace, first aid and
safety for the walk, he will also provide knowledge of the route and
the interest and history along the Way.

Guided Cycles
Walking Support
can also provide supervised cycles or walks on the Forth/Clyde and
Union Canals or any part of them. This would generally include a
section past the Falkirk Millennium Wheel, the worlds largest canal lift.
We will do this for any group of individuals or for a charity, first
planning an event against the clients requirements and capabilities
then guiding the event to ensure success and safety.
