Walking Support being located in the Scottish Borders has a strong interest in the many varied and beautiful walks that this region has to offer. In 2005 Walking Support was heavily involved in the Scottish Borders Festival of Walking that took place in the Jedburgh area.
In 2006 the Festival returned to the Selkirk area and the week long walking event run from the 2nd to 9th September. With 40 lead walks there was something for all ages and types of walker.
Details on the 2007 Festival will be posted when information becomes available.
Below are only a few photos taken from the Festival Week 2005. As it can be seen from the images the weather was on the whole very good, although even on a very wet day the enthusiasts enjoyed walking the wonderful open countryside and Cheviot Hills.
